ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಭಾರತ್ ಆಗಿ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುವುದು ಯಾಕೆ ಎಂಬ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಹೆಸರು ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದ ವಕೀಲ ಡ್ಯಾರೆನ್ ಒಲಿವಿಯರ್ ಅವರು ಈ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೂತ್ರವೊಂದನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ವಾಜಿಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ದೇಶದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ವಟಿನಿ ಎಂದು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುವಾಗ ಒಲಿವಿಯರ್ ಈ ಸೂತ್ರ ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅದರಂತೆ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಹೆಸರು ಭಾರತ್ ಆಗಲು 14,034 ರೂ ಖರ್ಚಾಗಬಹುದು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.While there was a discussion about why India should be changed to Bharat, the cost of the name change was calculated.
