00:05 year and the resilience they've shown all year.

00:10 And yeah, it's a nice little birthday present.

00:12 Just goes to prove that we can push ourselves from coming behind to be able to have that

00:16 resilience to push to the end and be able to come in front towards the end.

00:20 I take it they have a bit of a tough season then for you?

00:24 Yeah.

00:25 We started the year with a team of 10 that had two girls move into state before the first

00:30 game, so it dropped us down to eight.

00:32 But the eight have been super committed all year.

00:38 We've had one girl go away for a whole term, which left us with the bare seven.

00:44 So we had the under 13s come up and support the girls throughout those years.

00:47 And a couple of injuries and illnesses which brought them onto the court, but each of the

00:51 15s really showed great leadership to support those girls and just kept pushing and finished

00:58 the season on top and were able to make it back to the grand final after losing to Merivale

01:03 in the second semi and did the job today beautifully.

01:05 And how was match day with you?

01:07 Are you happy with the result?

01:08 Yeah, I'm very happy with the result.

01:09 I think we were all nervous at the start because we did lose the first final, so we were a

01:13 bit nervous.

01:14 So I reckon that showed on court.

01:16 But towards the end, our enthusiasm and encouragement towards each other pushed us to go further,

01:22 which helped us get away with the win in the end.

01:24 They've got a great team spirit and the encouragement they showed to each other all year certainly

01:29 helped when they didn't quite back themselves if something wasn't going quite their way

01:32 and got around each other really well.

01:34 And yeah, the result showed.
