00:00 Joe Jonas has returned to the stage after filing for divorce from Sophie Turner.
00:04 On Wednesday night, the 34-year-old singer joined his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas
00:10 on stage for their Jonas Brothers concert in Phoenix, Arizona, and he was not wearing
00:15 his wedding ring.
00:16 The band is currently in the middle of their five albums, One Night The Tour, which began
00:21 in August, and Joe opted for a particularly stylish pink and white floral suit for the
00:26 latest show.
00:27 Joe's performance came the same day that the former couple each posted a brief statement
00:31 to Instagram, confirming their split, writing, "Statement from the two of us.
00:37 After four wonderful years of marriage, we've mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
00:42 There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision,
00:47 and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
00:52 The Cake by the Ocean singer filed for divorce from his wife of four years on Tuesday, Access
00:58 Hollywood confirmed.
00:59 Joe and the 27-year-old Game of Thrones alum tied the knot in 2019, and they shared two
01:04 daughters together.
01:05 Access Hollywood spoke to Joe in September 2022, just weeks after their youngest was
01:09 born, and he shared how parenthood has impacted him.
01:13 Well, congratulations on baby number two.
01:17 I'm so excited for you guys.
01:18 It's so cool to see this, you know, all happening for you.
01:22 How do you think fatherhood has changed you and expanding the family has changed the dynamic?
01:30 I work harder to take more time off in my life now.
01:35 I want to be able to be very present.
01:38 And even at home, I think the biggest change is like, even small things that I could do,
01:43 I've deleted social media pretty much off my phone, and I'll re-download it if I want
01:47 to post something or to re-delete it.
01:50 And I still use it, but I'm able to be like present at home and be present when I'm around
01:55 my friends and family, most importantly.
01:57 I really love that.
01:59 And those small little things go a long way.
02:02 And if I'm at home and doing Zooms, I try to do it during a window where it's just me
02:07 time.
02:08 And so it's quite nice.
02:10 And so it's changed me a lot.
02:12 I think it's made me for the better.
02:14 And ultimately, as a bandmate, you're a little bit more emotional with these songs that you're
02:21 writing and the things you're going through, the stories you're telling and you want to
02:24 share and the relations that you have around you.
02:27 Oh, that's really sweet.
02:29 Please tell me you sing lullabies and you're doing that.
02:33 My lullabies CD will come out soon.
02:36 I love it.
02:37 I just said CD.
02:38 Oh, yeah, I'm about your age.
02:41 So I would say the same.
02:43 You and your brothers, I hear, are back in the studio making some new music.
02:48 We are.
02:49 What can you share?
02:50 I can't share too much.
02:51 I always feel, unfortunately, like I have the worst answers.
02:56 I can share that it's taking time because it needs to.
03:01 And I think we're in no rush.
03:04 We're playing a lot of shows and that's what's going on currently.
03:07 So we just got back from Mexico.
03:09 I never had the time to just go explore Mexico City.
03:12 The fans there are so passionate, which is thrilling, but there's this element where
03:17 you can't really go outside and they'll follow you to every place you go.
03:22 I think maybe because they're a little older and they've grown up with us, they're more
03:26 excited to see us out doing things that make them proud of their city.
03:30 So in Mexico City, I was just blown away by the food, the culture.
03:36 I went to this incredible coffee shop that I went to every single day.
03:40 And so it was one of my favorite trips.
03:43 And we've got more shows coming up and we're playing Global Citizens here in New York.
03:47 Oh, I'll be there.
03:48 Oh, great.
03:49 We'll see you there.
03:50 That's exciting.
03:51 Yeah.
03:52 We're playing Global Citizen and we're going to be doing some more Vegas shows as well.
03:54 I love that.
03:55 Busy year that's left.
03:56 Very busy.
03:58 What is it like for you guys making music now together?
04:00 Obviously, you've grown so much in the industry creating music.
04:04 Now you guys are all expanding your families.
04:07 You have wives.
04:08 You have, you know, it's different.
04:10 So what is the creation of the music like now?
04:13 Where does your inspiration come from?
04:17 We all have our own bigger lives now.
04:22 And we love to watch each other grow as people and have a bit more of an understanding of
04:28 what they've gone through.
04:30 We don't throw around advice for each other because we are so different.
04:34 We all live in different parts of the US.
04:37 We also have different gigs on the side.
04:39 And so bringing our different energies together to create music, it is beautiful.
04:45 Or share the stage even.
04:46 Like how do we bring our best to the platform?
04:50 And I feel like we've been able to really grow as individuals, which makes us stronger
04:54 together.
