00:32 and seeing what makes sense in terms of next steps.

00:35 And I wish I had an answer for everyone to be like,

00:36 "Oh, I'm fighting this person."

00:39 It's locked in, all this stuff,

00:40 but sometimes in the fight game,

00:41 things take a little bit of time.

00:43 - And is there anyone like your dream fighter

00:45 that you wanna call out?

00:46 - At the end of the day, I wanna fight Canelo.

00:49 And I see a lot of holes in his game

00:52 and people are like, "Oh, Jake, you're crazy."

00:55 All these things.

00:56 And I am, that's what's gotten me this far

00:58 is my delusional optimism

01:01 and believing in myself and self-belief.

01:03 And so I know that the Canelo fight's

01:05 gonna make sense one day.

01:06 And I believe 100% in my heart that I beat him.

01:09 - Can you talk a little bit about your plans for the future

01:11 of venturing into the world of MMA with the PFL?

01:14 - Yeah, we're just gonna continue to grow the organization

01:18 and probably pretty soon, you know,

01:21 hopefully pretty soon I can get an MMA fight.

01:23 I have the challenge and the $10 million offered

01:26 and Nate Diaz, he still has ducked it behind the scenes.

01:30 Hasn't wanna like actually make it happen.

01:32 That's the MMA fight I want.

01:34 But right now we're, you know, growing the league.

01:37 Amanda Serrano signed, Savannah Marshall signed.

01:41 Francis is looking to make a fight

01:43 after he fights Tyson Fury.

01:45 So a lot of big things going on

01:46 and we have the championships coming up here in November.

01:49 So lots of big news and big moves.

01:52 - I like that.

01:54 So you beat Diaz in the ring

01:55 and I was gonna ask you for your,

01:57 my follow-up was if you're gonna beat him in the octagon

01:59 but you sound pretty confident.

02:00 - I truly believe I would.

02:02 Just because a lot of his MMA fights are striking

02:06 and stand up and I don't believe he could take me down

02:11 to be able to submit me.

02:12 I believe he has better submissions

02:14 and jujitsu and all that,

02:15 but I don't think he's gonna be able to take me down

02:17 because of my wrestling background.

02:19 So I believe I beat Nate Diaz in MMA, 100%.

02:22 - Dana White, you and him have a lot of publicized beef.

02:26 It's set the Twitter world on fire.

02:28 It's set Instagram, all social media platforms.

02:31 Where do you stand on that issue now with him?

02:33 - I don't know.

02:33 I haven't heard from him.

02:35 I haven't heard, I don't know what's going on.

02:38 The UFC seems to be like dying out.

02:41 It's really like Sugar Sean and Israel Adesanya

02:44 are the last two guys.

02:45 Other than that, there's really no noise over there.

02:48 I've been more focused on the boxing world and growing PFL.

02:53 I haven't heard from Dana.

02:56 I don't know what's up with him.

02:58 - So your boxing company, speaking of the boxing world,

03:00 MVP promotion, what's on the horizon for that?

03:03 - A lot of amazing things.

03:04 We have a bunch of most valuable prospects cards coming up.

03:08 Lots of people we're talking to behind the scenes,

03:11 but we're growing.

03:11 Wanda, we just signed Javon Wanda Walton, massive superstar,

03:16 the biggest unsigned star in boxing.

03:19 We signed him.

03:20 Growing his career, Ashton Sill was on fire,

03:23 coming off of a big knockout win.
