John Travolta's Daughter Honors His & Kelly Preston's Anniversary In Sweet Video

00:09 daughter Ella Blue posing in a beautiful floral midi dress and heels, while the song "The

00:18 Our baby girl Ella in celebration of Kelly's and my wedding anniversary.

00:25 John captioned the sweet post.

00:27 Ella simply commented on the video, "I love you both so much" with a red heart emoji.

00:32 The Pulp Fiction actor and Kelly tied the knot in 1991 after meeting at a screen test

00:37 for their 1989 comedy, The Experts.

00:41 It seems the couple was so in love that they got married twice, with their first wedding

00:45 taking place in Paris, France, while their second ceremony commenced in Daytona Beach,

00:50 Florida.

00:51 John and Kelly also shared 12-year-old son Benjamin and their late son, Jett, who died

00:56 in January 2009 at 16 years old after suffering from a seizure.

01:02 The twins' actress passed away in 2020 after a private battle with breast cancer.

01:07 She was 57 years old, and John has remained a dedicated father to their children since

01:12 the devastating loss.

01:13 In June, Ella paid a heartfelt Father's Day tribute to John with a photo of the two of

01:18 them alongside Benjamin, writing in her caption, "Happy Father's Day, Daddy.

01:30 AXS Hollywood chatted with Ella back in February, and she revealed the advice her dad has given

01:34 to her when it comes to dating.

01:36 "I want to ask you this.

01:37 First of all, let's get this out of the way.

01:39 What was it like growing up with famous celebrity parents and when did you know that they were

01:44 famous?"

01:45 "I mean, that's a good question.

01:46 I think that I always knew that there was something different or something special just

01:53 from people coming up to them and everything like that.

01:56 And also, I grew up going on set.

01:57 So that sort of planted that inkling for me of what I wanted to do and that I wanted to

02:01 be an actress or a singer or to do all of that.

02:05 So I think from a very young age, I sort of knew that that was the family trade and I

02:10 was excited to be a part of that from when I was little."

02:14 I got a little side story I got to share about your dad, John.

02:18 Today we did the Brooklyn interview, and afterwards I went to my car.

02:22 I was at my car.

02:23 Guess who starts walking up behind me?

02:27 "He said he met you, yeah."

02:28 "That was me.

02:29 I was by my car and I was with my friend.

02:31 I was like, 'Don't turn around,' but John Travolta was walking this way.

02:36 I said, 'Yeah, he's walking this way.'

02:37 He came over.

02:38 I was like, 'Hey, John, nice to meet you.

02:39 How many of you are your daughter?'

02:40 He was like, I totally threw him off guard.

02:41 I was like, 'What?'"

02:42 "That's so funny."

02:43 "Because he was asking for directions.

02:44 And I was like, 'This is my first time meeting John.

02:49 Totally cool, totally cool guy.'

02:51 And we walked him to where he was.

02:52 I was like, 'Man, that's got to be so cool having a dad that's cool.

02:55 He wasn't having a bunch of people with him, an entourage.

02:58 He was just, 'Hey, I'm John.'"

03:09 "So, Ellen, this business, right, it's such a hard business to get in.

03:12 What kind of advice did your pops give you about getting into this business?"

03:16 "That's a good question.

03:19 I think just really sticking true to yourself and knowing that everyone's going to have

03:25 a lot of opinions.

03:26 Everyone's going to have an idea of what they think you should do and how they think that

03:30 you should do it.

03:31 But you really got to have confidence in yourself and your own ideas and your own thoughts of

03:39 how you want to portray yourself and how you want to have a career and really make your

03:46 life.

03:47 I think that just sticking true to that and not letting – definitely take the advice

03:51 of other people, but not letting that influence you in a bad way or make you feel like you

03:56 can't do it.

03:57 So, just really stick true to knowing that you can do it and that your ideas and that

04:02 your opinions are also correct and also valid.

04:05 I don't know if that makes sense."

04:06 "No, it definitely makes sense.

04:07 That's positive input.

04:08 I like that.

04:09 Positive affirmations.

04:10 Always speak up for yourself because sometimes in this business, people can get discouraged

04:14 or even parents can be like, 'Have you ever had a time where he was ever discouraging

04:19 you from doing it or were you always like, 'This is what I want to do.'"

04:24 "Even for anything that I've been offered or going to do or thinking about if I should

04:31 do or should not do, whether a movie or anything like that, he's always given his advice or

04:37 his idea, but let it ultimately be up to me and said, 'But what do you think or what

04:43 do you think that you should do or how do you feel about it?'

04:46 So it's always been ultimately my choice, which I think is very important because you

04:51 can take everyone else's advice, but then you have to make sure that it's really coming

04:55 from you and what you want to do."

05:18 I'm trying to think of the best one.

05:20 I think in general, just really, if you're going on a first date or you're meeting someone

05:29 for the first time, just making sure to really be yourself and don't give any false pretenses

05:35 of like, you know, a lot of people will go on a date and they'll be like, 'Oh my God,

05:38 I love baseball,' or 'I love this, I love that,' and they really don't because they're

05:42 trying to just match what the other person likes.

05:46 And then later they're like, 'What?

05:47 You don't really like baseball?' or something like that.

05:49 So just really be yourself and make sure that, obviously, you put your best foot forward,

05:52 but you're really just being you because if that person likes you for you, then you're

05:58 fine.

05:59 And you like them for them, then you're set."
