Gen 'Apai' Affendi steps down as Armed Forces chief

"Apai", aka General Tan Sri Affendi Buang has officially called it a day to his military career, following decades of service to the Air Force and Armed Forces.
In his stead, outgoing Army Chief General Tan Sri Mohammad Ab Rahman has officially been promoted to the country’s 22th Armed Forces chief.
In a ceremony on Wednesday (Sept 6) at Wisma Pertahanan, Kuala Lumpur, Gen Affendi handed over command to the former Army chief.
