00:40 So I got to audition with a lot of other Graces and it was just amazing to see, you know,

00:45 how just, what, chemistry is something usually that other people have to tell you you have.

00:50 In Debra's case I think it was pretty clear.

00:52 She walked in the room and we both just thought, this feels right.

00:55 She was laughing at my stuff, I was laughing at hers.

01:20 and are incredibly playful with each other and can call each other on things

01:27 And we're living together for the first time.

01:29 We both just got out of relationships.

01:31 And it's new for us, even though we've been friends for a really long time,

01:36 living together is new for us.

01:38 So it's funny.

01:40 I think that there's a lot to explore when you have people living together

01:44 who know each other incredibly well.

01:46 Professionally, you know, she's really passionate about what she does,

01:49 and I think I am too.

01:51 But she's not nearly as organized in her personal life,

01:54 and that's something that is definitely true of me.

01:56 But I think that I sort of--if you magnify that 100,000 times

02:01 towards disorganization, that's pretty much the land that I live in.

02:06 I'm trying to learn from Grace.

02:30 and we really laugh a lot at each other's stuff.

02:33 We have two gay characters, they're very different.

02:35 They still don't represent all of the gay men out there,

02:38 but they do represent two different kinds.

02:42 Jack is a lot more out, he's a lot more stereotypical perhaps.

02:48 Maybe that means he's a lot more comfortable, I don't know.

02:51 Will is the kind of guy you'd play basketball with for 6, 7 weeks.

02:54 You wouldn't necessarily know he was gay.

02:57 He's still proud, he's still--it's not an issue for him.

03:03 hence it's not really an issue for the show yet.
