00:02 Today we are finally reviewing

00:04 the new Energy Plus Seamless colors on AliExpress.

00:07 So these are from Nepoagym, obviously, my fave.

00:10 And these are exact dupes

00:12 for Gymshark's Energy Plus Seamless collection.

00:15 The new colors, I believe they launched in January.

00:18 Nepoagym has had these for a while,

00:19 but it just took me a while to get around to the review.

00:22 And I forgot to mention,

01:05 First of all, these colors are so, so beautiful

01:08 and perfect for the summer.

01:09 I'm personally the biggest fan of this light baby blue color

01:13 and this like teal kind of sea foam

01:15 is also super, super pretty.

01:16 So first I want to talk about the leggings.

01:18 They are made of that super slick,

01:21 kind of almost shiny compression material.

01:24 These are definitely one of my go-to gym leggings.

01:26 I think the fabric just works

01:27 for so many different styles of workouts.

01:29 You can run in it, you can lift in it,

01:31 you can just do a lot of different kinds of things.

01:33 I wouldn't recommend doing too much like stretching yoga

01:35 in it because the seams do get a little bit tight

01:37 in the crotch, but nothing too crazy.

01:40 These are about a medium high compression.

01:42 They do squish you down a decent amount.

01:45 And the waistband is very high compression as well,

01:47 so it does offer a lot of tummy control.

01:48 The waistband is quite high.

01:50 It goes over the belly button,

01:51 but it's not as high as the original Energy Seamless

01:54 that went like way over the belly button.

01:56 It is a very thick waistband.

01:58 On some people, I personally don't have this issue.

02:01 It can cause a little like love handle squishage

02:04 on the side, so just be mindful

02:06 if you do carry a lot of weight in your hip region.

02:08 It can kind of be very tight here

02:10 and then not as tight where the waistband ends.

02:12 On me it's okay, but it's not the most flattering waistband

02:15 on everyone.

02:16 The waistband is ribbed and the leggings have

02:18 a nice paneling detail down the side

02:21 and of course the Energy eyelets.

02:23 Compared to the original Energy Seamless,

02:25 these eyelets are much more narrow and elongated.

02:29 In my opinion, this just gives a more long line detail

02:31 to the leg and I personally love it.

02:33 They also have the eyelets on the bottom

02:35 like all of the Energy Seamless leggings do.

02:37 I have a size small in all of the colors

02:40 and all of the colors feel about the same

02:42 in terms of stretchiness to me,

02:43 so I don't feel like one color is more stiff

02:45 than the others and all of the colors fit me

02:47 basically perfectly.

02:48 I would definitely go true to size in these leggings.

02:50 Some people do say to size up if you want them

02:52 to be a little more squat proof,

02:54 but in my opinion, I've sized up

02:55 in the Energy Seamless leggings before

02:57 and then the waistband just gapes a lot,

03:00 so I would personally just go with your normal size.

03:02 As for cellulite, these do offer

03:03 quite a bit of compression.

03:04 They are a decently thin fabric

03:06 and they are a solid color,

03:07 so you're not going to get as much cellulite coverage

03:10 as a legging that has a little bit of texture

03:12 or a marled texture to it.

03:14 So I'd say these are light cellulite friendly.

03:17 So I'm not going to cover major cellulite.

03:19 These leggings, because they're this performance material,

03:21 are decently sweat proof.

03:22 Nothing is entirely sweat proof in my opinion.

03:24 I think that these are very good for performance

03:26 in sweat and just breathability.

03:28 No camel toe in these.

03:29 You can get a little bit of like Barbie crotch,

03:31 single camel, but it's really not too bad

03:34 and I didn't have a lot of gathering around the crotch.

03:36 I'd give these about a medium on the booty scale.

03:38 The nice high waist does kind of accentuate

03:41 the curve of the booty very nicely,

03:43 but they do have a little bit of compression.

03:45 So I wouldn't say these are like the most flattering

03:47 on your booty because they do squish you down

03:48 just a little bit, but they're not unflattering in any way.

03:51 And for the squat test, if we remember my Gymshark review

03:54 of these colors, it was honestly very bad.

03:57 Their leggings were not really squat proof at all.

04:00 Looking at these squat tests right now,

04:01 I feel like these are like slightly more squat proof

04:03 except for the red ones, we'll talk about that.

04:05 I'm going to put the squat test side by side

04:07 for the Gymshark and the Gymshark dupes

04:09 and we can see for ourselves.

04:11 It is in slightly different lighting,

04:13 but in both of them I have like a big ring light

04:15 and just like a lot of light in general.

04:16 So it should be pretty similar.

04:17 Anyway, the blue is about a seven and a half

04:20 at a 10 squat proof.

04:21 So honestly it was pretty good.

04:22 I could really just barely see a little bit of crack

04:25 at the bottom, but honestly I would squat in them.

04:27 The teal were about a seven out of 10.

04:30 Like you really couldn't see much.

04:31 And when I tried the Gymshark version of these on,

04:33 they were barely even stand proof.

04:35 Like I could lean over in the mirror and see a lot.

04:37 I'm not sure what the deal is, but on me,

04:39 these were actually pretty good.

04:40 The reds, you could still see a decent amount of crack.

04:43 So I give these about a four out of 10.

04:45 So even though these are the darkest color,

04:47 they're actually the least squat proof,

04:48 which is kind of strange.

04:49 Now for the sports bras.

04:50 So these do have more coverage

04:52 than the original Energy Seamless sports bras,

04:54 but they do not have more support.

04:55 I've seen some people say that these bras have more support

04:58 and those people do not have boobs.

04:59 I would not wear this for any high impact activity,

05:02 very light support, which is totally fine.

05:03 Just like, I want you guys to know,

05:05 I will not be jumping around in this.

05:07 It does have a good amount of coverage.

05:09 You really aren't getting a lot of cleavage here.

05:11 You have a really cute strappy design detail

05:13 above the actual bra.

05:15 Then you kind of have these four converging

05:17 adjustable straps at the back.

05:18 I love that these straps are adjustable,

05:20 but just know if you do adjust them too much,

05:22 it'll kind of like make the back part of the band

05:24 come up a little bit.

05:25 So you don't want to like make the straps too tight.

05:28 They also have a lot of the little eyelets in the front

05:31 and the back.

05:32 So it matches the leggings very nicely.

05:34 This bra fit me perfectly.

05:35 I'm almost always a small in sports bras

05:38 and I wouldn't have traded the size for anything else.

05:41 Like I said, light support.

05:43 You would have even less support if you took these pads out.

05:45 Nepoagym, honestly, I really like Nepoagym pads.

05:48 I feel like they do a great job of coverage.

05:50 You can't really see the shape of the pad very much.

05:53 Since the pads are so structured,

05:54 you actually get a little bit of extra support

05:56 just by having those pads in there.

05:57 One thing to be mindful of with the pads

05:59 is they are a nude color

06:01 and they do kind of tend to appear within these eyelets

06:04 because these eyelets do go straight through the fabric.

06:07 So you can probably adjust this so it doesn't show.
