COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON ECONOMIC POLICY will meet in OPEN SESSION, HYBRID FORMAT to conduct a hearing on “Bank Mergers and the Economic Impacts of Consolidation.” The witnesses will be: Ms. Morgan Harper, Director of Policy and Advocacy, American Economic Liberties Project; The Honorable Michael Faulkender, PhD, Dean's Professor of Finance, University of Maryland and Chief Economist, America First Policy Institute; and Ms. Alexa Philo, Senior Policy Analyst, Americans for Financial Reform.
