Chot Reyes leaves fate to SBP


Chot Reyes says it's up to the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) if he's going to be kept as the Gilas Pilipinas head coach after the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Gilas has yet to win a game after losing four straight against the Dominican Republic, Angola, Italy and South Sudan, with the last defeat effectively booting the locals out of contention for a berth in the Paris Olympics in 2024. Gilas hopes to salvage its pride when it faces China this Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
