Myself Niti Saxena
Today i will make Mewa paag
Ingredients-
1 cup Desi ghee
2 cup sugar चीनी
2 tsp Gondh गोंद(fry for 5 min)
4 tsp chironji चिरौंजी(fry for 3 min)
1/2 cup chopped almonds बादाम(fry for 3 min)
2 cup grated dry coconut सूखा नारियल/खोपरा(fry for 5 min)
2 cup chopped Lotus seed मखाना(fry for 5 min)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder इलायची पाउडर
1 cup melon seeds खरबूजे के बीज
Firstly melt 3 spoon ghee,now deep fry edible gum on low flame, until they puff, and grind of it.Now deep fry almonds & chirongi in the same ghee. Now remove the rest ghee, and add 1 tsp ghee & shallow fry to all dry fruits on low-med flame, until they turn light brown in colour. Now they are crispy and cut easily. Now chopped the makhana,cashew nuts and almonds separately into small pieces.
Grease a plate with ghee and keep aside.
Now, prepare a syrup of sugar in a pan and add a cardamom powder to it mix all the dry fruits in it. After that take out the mixture in a ghee covered plate. In this way, a delicious Mewa Paag gets ready.
Cool it for 30 min.
Now cut mewa pak into pieces.
Store the Mewa Pak in an air tight container in fridge for up to 15 days.
