10 Day Trend 30/08/2023 – Ex-hurricane Franklin moves the jet – Met Office weekly weather forecast UK
  • 8 months ago
This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the next 10 days.

As Hurricane Franklin moves into the North Atlantic, it transitions into an extra-tropical cyclone or an ex-hurricane. At the same time, the energy and warmth from this powerful low is likely to buckle the jet stream with downstream consequences on the UK’s weather well into next week. Bringing you this 10 day trend is Met Office meteorologist Aidan McGivern.
