Shock closure of Viking School in Skegness

Parents have been left 'in limbo' after the shock closure of the Viking School in Skegness.

00:06 returning to class and seeing their friends. However, on August 24th, parents at the Viking

00:12 school received the shocking news that their school was closing.

00:22 No, absolutely not. Obviously the number of students is very low, so obviously I had thought

00:29 that it might be closing down in the future, but we didn't have any prior warning whatsoever,

00:35 and hence we are stuck now because if we did, we would have obviously been looking for different

00:40 provisions for our children, different school places in the area, but we didn't because

00:44 we felt like we're safe, school is opening in September, and it's back to reality, back

00:50 to normal.

00:52 Law firms Sills and Betridge, who contacted the parents, regrettably confirmed the school

00:58 was forced to close on August 24th. They said the school had actively been marketed for

01:03 some time, but unfortunately a buyer could not be found.
