Lampedusa under pressure after record number of migrants land over weekend

Following a record number of landings over the weekend, the island of Lampedusa is facing significant strain. Hosting ten times more migrants and refugees than it can handle, authorities are working on transferring most of the new arrivals to various regions across Italy.
