India Launched 7 Satellites Atop PSLV Rocket

India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) lifted off from India's Satish Dhawan Space Centre last month.

The main payload was the DS-SAR, a 794-pound (360 kilograms) satellite designed to image Earth in radar light. (SAR stands for "synthetic aperture radar."), according to Space.com
