The two were not very close, as Jeong Mi-hee worked long hours away from her daughter at a Barbershop. Jeong still however provided her daughter with a place to live and other necessities. However would end up betraying her own daughter in 2004, after signing a contract with Hong Young-ae (Park Yeonjin's mother) to agree to change the reason for Moon's Dong-eun's dropout from school to maladjustment from bullying, with the promise of money in return. Which made Moon Dong-eun's bullies, Park Yeonjin, Lee Sara, Jeon Jae-jun, Choi Hyejeong and Song Myeong O escape punishment for assaulting her including burning her with a curling iron.
