Smooth nomination process for Pulai and Simpang Jeram by-elections, say police

The nomination process for the Pulai parliamentary and the Simpang Jeram state by-elections on Saturday (Aug 26) morning went smoothly without any untoward incidents reported.
Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the situation at both nomination centres, at Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim in Johor Baru and in Muar, were also reported to be calm and under control, despite thousands of supporters from the contesting parties gathering in the area.
