Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bengaluru on Saturday, August 26, to meet the team of ISRO scientists involved in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. He returned to India after attending the BRICS 15th Summit in South Africa’s Johannesburg. He was scheduled to visit the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) at around 7:15 am. Addressing a crowd outside HAL airport in Bengaluru, he said that he could not stop himself from meeting the ISRO scientists involved in the Chandrayaan-3 mission as soon as possible. That’s why he decided to visit Bengaluru first and meet them.
