Wagner chief Prigozhin presumed dead in plane crash: Russian officials

Police and media are seen near the area where a plane crashed in Russia's Tver region, almost 350 km from Moscow. According to Russian officials, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner mercenary group, was aboard the plane, and died in the crash together with nine other people.

Yevgeny Prigozhin's short-lived rebellion was seen as the biggest challenge to Russian President Vladimir Putin's authority since he came to power.
