00:00 Joseph Baena didn't let Tropical Storm Hillary stop him from hitting the gym.
00:06 On Monday, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to share a reel of him exercising as rain
00:10 fell over Los Angeles.
00:12 The clip starts off with the bodybuilder looking out into the street from inside the gym with
00:16 the text, "Hey, don't go outside today.
00:18 There's a hurricane coming" over the video.
00:21 Joseph then steps outside, takes off his shirt, and proceeds to work out in the rain, flexing
00:26 his muscles and showing off his abs in the process.
00:30 Hillary just wanted a free show, he captioned the post.
00:34 Joseph isn't one to shy away from posting his workouts or toned physique on Instagram.
00:40 He frequently shares photos of him at the gym and back in May, he broke down his intense
00:45 exercise routine.
00:47 That includes 200 elevated crunches, 50 pull-ups, 150 push-ups, and 50 jump squats, among other
00:55 things.
00:56 The actor also showed off his abs on the cover of Men's Health back in February 2022.
01:02 AXS Hollywood's Scott Evans chatted with him about his cover and how his dad, Arnold
01:06 Schwarzenegger, is always cheering him on.
01:09 Your father, Arnold, has also graced the cover of this magazine.
01:14 It had to also feel kind of like a carrying of the legacy, or a next, a handing of the
01:21 baton maybe even, from one generation to the next, to have this cemented this way, right?
01:27 Oh yeah.
01:28 Yeah, I mean it's, again, it's just like a big honor to be able to do that and he, I
01:38 love that word that you said, "graced."
01:40 Yeah, he did.
01:41 He's graced the cover of this magazine before.
01:44 So yeah, again, he's a legend and along with so many other legends, it's really just a
01:53 huge honor and privilege for me to be on there as well.
01:58 And if you want to consider it carrying the legacy, then I'll run with it.
02:04 Yeah, 100%.
02:05 That's great.
02:06 Man, you were full sprint with that baton, 100%.
02:10 I want to know, in moments like this, do you call your dad and you're like, "Yo, bruh,
02:18 I'm coming for you."
02:19 Right?
02:20 Do you have moments where you're like, "Listen, I'm out here."
02:26 You know what I mean?
02:27 And it's all starting to pay off.
02:29 Yeah, well, I mean, it's always great sharing with either of my parents.
02:36 It's always, I call my mom, I call my dad whenever something like this happens and it's
02:41 always so exciting.
02:43 And so, it's always fulfilling just to be able to say, "I'm doing it.
02:51 I'm freaking doing it."
02:52 And so he's so proud and it's always great to hear that from your parents.
03:00 How did he respond to this?
03:02 I mean, he was like, "Oh man, that's awesome."
03:06 I don't know.
03:09 Man, it was just ... He's just very supportive of me getting to my goals.
03:19 He's happy for me and he's just always there along the way.
