The medical director where nurse Lucy Letby murdered seven babies says lessons ‘continue to be learned’. Dr Nigel Scawn of the Countess of Chester Hospital was speaking after a jury convicted the 33-year-old nurse on seven counts of murder and seven counts of attempted murder during 2015-2016 – and revealed that hospital staff are ‘devastated’.
