The Pininfarina B95 is powered by a 120 kWh battery pack that powers four 1,874 hp electric motors.
The new Automobili Pininfarina B95, with its €4.4 million ($4.8 million) creation, debuted as part of Monterey Car Week, limited to just 10 units, and shares the powertrain with the Battista.
The custom open-air two-seater has a gorgeous silhouette that uses Pininfarina's current PURA design philosophy and looks relatively simple when compared to the Battista's trunk. Dominating the front end are the protruding splitter and slender LED headlights set on a low fascia that flow gradually upwards towards the prominent front fenders and a vertically grained hood.
What makes the B95 unique from many other Speedsters and Barchettas we've seen released in recent years is that both driver and passenger have unique, electronically adjustable aero screens. They are inspired by classic warplanes and are made of clear polycarbonate with exposed aluminum supports and can be easily raised or lowered to increase comfort.
The Monterey-bound example is primarily finished in a gray tone known as the Bronzo Superga, which contrasts with the Giallo Arneis yellow highlights at the front and the driver's side strut. The car also features multiple carbon fiber accents and is equipped with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged aluminum exteriors painted in matte black. Brake calipers are finished with Giallo Arneis.
As you would expect from such an expensive vehicle, customers will be offered almost unlimited customization and personalization options when ordering their B95.
Like the Battista, the Pininfarina B95 is powered by a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that drives four electric motors to deliver a total of 1,874 hp. It can reach 96 km/h in less than 2 seconds and a top speed of over 300 km/h, which is fast enough for a car without a windshield. The battery can be charged 20-80% in just 25 minutes.
Production of the Pininfarina B95 will begin in 2025, when the company will celebrate its 95th anniversary.
