Housing, renters right on the agenda of Brisbane talks

The nation's political leaders have set their sights on building an extra 200-thousand homes motivated by a multi-billion-dollar incentive package put up by the Prime Minister. Their deal sealed in today's 'National Cabinet' meeting is meant to create 1-point-2 million homes over five years. But there won't be any freeze on rent increases, leaving the greens in the senate no closer to passing the Prime Minister's signature 'housing Australia future fund'.
