Taiwanese Firms Weigh Impact of China Plastics Levy

Taiwanese firms have been left to weigh the impact after China imposed anti-dumping levies of up to 22% on Taiwanese polycarbonates. China announced the measures hours after Taiwan’s Vice President Lai Ching-te departed from the United States. Exports from Taiwan to China of the plastic were worth over US$800 million last year.
