[BRANDED] Sunway Healthcare Group has unveiled its flagship senior living residence, Sunway Sanctuary.

01:05 It's not, you know, an old hotel

01:12 and the uniqueness is it's next to the medical center.

01:15 So in case a resident run into any health problems,

01:20 the hospital staff will come in

01:23 or they can be transferred into the hospital

01:25 as soon as possible.

01:27 But more important is we actually have home care services

01:30 where we have teams of doctors, nurses,

01:33 dietitian, physiotherapists

01:35 who can actually come into this center.

01:38 Apart from that, we also have a wellness center

01:40 where we can do basic screening, routine screening.

01:43 At the same time, at each residential floor,

01:46 we actually have what we call residential care associates

01:50 where they are trained professionals

01:54 to attend to the needs of the residents day to day.

02:06 Because there is no one product at this point of time,

02:10 and I do believe we're the first,

02:12 that actually has a senior living residence

02:15 that is annexed directly to a hospital.

02:18 So that makes us stand out.

02:20 And also with our various services that we do

02:24 in terms of our resident care associates,

02:26 where we provide round the clock care

02:29 and who are actually healthcare professionals

02:32 that come over to this site,

02:33 we tend to actually then be able to give

02:36 a different, I would say, not a very medical feel,

02:39 but a very hospitality feel,

02:42 but not forgetting that background of healthcare.

02:44 As a senior, you are worried.

02:47 If your children are not around, emergency sets in.

02:49 And then we know, like in big cities,

02:51 all the traffic jam,

02:52 maybe too late for you to get to a hospital.

02:54 So next to a healthcare center like this is really useful.

04:33 to achieve a healthier version of themselves.

04:35 Everyone here, actually, I'm very happy to say,

04:37 brings a certain level of passion, patience

04:42 into what they do.

04:43 And also because we are hiring,

04:45 I'm proud to say that all of our staff

04:48 are actually Malaysian, right?

04:50 And us being in a Malaysian community,

04:52 we grew up with our grandparents.

04:56 We grew up, and we're very respectful.

04:58 We always call people, "Hello, auntie.

05:01 So it's actually first nature for us

05:04 to be able to respect an elder person.

05:39 The plan is to have a network

05:41 of independent assisted living facilities

05:44 as part of our integrated community development projects.

05:49 As you know, Sunway is really a master community developer.

05:53 If this uptake is good, is a good standard,

05:56 and it fits in with our values and vision,

06:01 the next thing we would like to do

06:02 is to have it in our other projects.

06:05 So like, for example, we have a land in Kota Damansara.

06:09 We have land in Ipoh, in Iskandar.

06:12 Yeah, so that's our plan.
