ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ್ರೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೫ ರಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರೋದಲ್ಲ. ಸುಮಾರು ೬ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವರ್ಷದಂದು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೫ರಂದು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಆ ಆರು ದೇಶಗಳು ಯಾವುದು ಗೊತ್ತಾ? ಬಹರೇನ್, ನಾರ್ತ್ ಕೊರಿಯಾ, ಸೌತ್ ಕೊರಿಯಾ,ಕಾಂಗೋ,ಲೈಕೇಂಸ್ಟೈನ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ ಭಾರತ. ಅಖಂಡ ಭಾರತದ ವಿಭಜನೆ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಅಂದಾಗ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಲಸ ಯಾವುದು ಗೊತ್ತಾ? ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಖಾತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುಡ್ಡನ್ನ ಡ್ರಾ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು. ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇ ೬ ಕೋಟಿರುಪಾಯಿಯನ್ನ ಡ್ರಾ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತೆ.
