Perhaps India's greatest Paralympian Devendra Jhajharia said his ability to stay focused during the COVID pandemic helped him break his own world record in javelin. The 40-year-old, who has won two gold medals in the men's F-46 category at the Paralympics, sent the spear to a distance of 65.71m during the trials in Delhi on Wednesday. Jhajharia will represent India at the Tokyo Paralympics from August 24. He had won the gold at 2016 Rio Olympics with a new record.
