The Churiya film demonstrates the power of women in our society in the sphere of work and service. Women of India are all doers in their own right. They are all contributors in shaping our destiny. The bangles or Churiya they wear are symbols of emancipation. The idea in the film negates the very notion mentioned in the old Hindi saying "Churiya pehen lo" which demeans women and their abilities.
