Good afternoon, it's Chris here with your top three stories today, Monday August the 7th.
00:04
Number one, Sheffield City Council has spent £3 million on making staff redundant since last year, new figures show.
00:11
And number two, 14 Sheffield streets plagued by anti-social behaviour according to police reports.
00:17
And number three, Sheffield Retro, 36 photos of some of the best loved traders at City's Old Castle Market.
00:24
That's it from me, have a great day and we'll see you tomorrow.
00:27
I'll start with Michelle, we're no more than asking people what's a nice thing to do on a sunny day in Sheffield if they in fact stick around.
00:33
What's something you've got planned for the holiday?
00:36
We're hoping if the weather stays nice, we'll go to Grace Park, go round the Animal Farm, have fun in the park.
00:42
And we've actually got pennies, a few pennies, which is quite cheap, £6.
00:47
So something fun for the family to do.
00:50
Is it difficult to plan something or does it come quite naturally?
00:54
I am quite an organised person so I have got quite a few things planned.
00:58
That was just one of the cheaper days out that I've tried to book somewhere local.
01:04
We enjoy going to the park, don't we?
01:08
We like going to Hound Park, the new one.
01:11
The climbing frame is quite beautiful.
01:14
Yeah, they've got the water features there, not like anything else in Sheffield especially.
01:19
So we like quite a few parks don't we?
01:24
So Edgwife Park, Ford Stand, Spiral Park, the train park, the coal-living park.
01:29
I thought that was something a bit more interactive going on.
01:32
Yeah, playgrounds and fun.
01:35
Have you got anything planned for the summer?
01:38
Well, we're going away.
01:41
Bomb Sheffield!
01:44
We like going to the peaks as well, the walk, we like going out on the bike as well.
01:50
It's a bit of a sunny evening, it's really nice, you get a little bit of wildlife.
01:54
I'll be having a pizza with us.
