00:28 "but also this amazing fan base every day

00:30 "I'm learning about myself and what was all of this for.

00:35 "and think of the power we all had,

00:37 "including you as a fan base,

00:39 "I'm so happy that for five years,

00:41 "we made such a great soundtrack to life for myself

00:45 "and everyone who got to listen,

00:46 "sharing laughter, pain, and everything in between.

01:17 "at the UK premiere of 'All of Those Voices,'

01:21 "a documentary about Louis' life and career.

01:24 "Liam suited up to support Louis at the red carpet event,

01:27 "and the two were photographed smiling

01:29 "as they walked together.

01:30 "Louis isn't the only One Direction bandmate

01:32 "Liam has reunited with in the past few years.

01:36 "In December 2017, Liam spoke with AXS Hollywood backstage

01:41 "and he talked about playing video games with Niall

02:08 - Sometimes that happens.

02:09 I just met with Logic for the first time,

02:12 who's obviously been that fantastic.

02:13 - He's the most amazing guy.

02:14 - Oh, he's wonderful, wonderful.

02:16 I mean, I really like his song.

02:17 I think it's important that it speaks to people

02:19 on so many levels, and although having a great deal

02:21 of success with that, also you're helping

02:22 a lot of people out as well, which is fantastic.

02:23 - Without a doubt.

02:24 So, we see a lot of video of you in the studio online.

02:28 So, when are we gonna hear what you're doing?

02:30 - I just go and I stand in studios

02:31 and just pretend I'm doing stuff all the time,

02:33 and then like, no.

02:34 We've been working a lot, and the thing is,

02:35 there's a lot of different things

02:36 moving around at the moment, and you know,

02:38 the industry's changed a lot in the way

02:39 that things are timed these days.

02:40 You don't really have to stick to a structure

02:41 of like, this is when the album's coming out anymore.

02:43 You can just drop whatever you want whenever you want,

02:44 which is, it's really accessible and nice, it's good.

02:47 - You know, Liam, you learned a lot

02:49 with the band, with the guys, One Direction.

02:51 Especially on tour, you guys never really had time

02:53 to relax and see the world.

02:54 Now that you're doing you--

02:56 - I went out bowling the other day,

02:57 which was quite fun, I was awful.

02:59 - I know, at least you had a chance to figure it out.

03:01 - I know, it was good.

03:02 I went out bowling, and I went,

03:03 I do a lot more going out and stuff now.

03:05 It's not as crazy as it used to be,

03:06 so it's a little bit more, when you're on your own as well,

03:08 it's like, if they see one of us,

03:09 and then they see another one,

03:10 then they know, it must be that guy.

03:11 But then like, now it's just like,

03:13 is it that guy, or is it not that guy?

03:14 Is that Niall, or Harry, or Louis, or Zane, or who is it?

03:18 Oh, it's Liam, never mind.

03:19 (laughing)

03:20 - So this is the first year as a dad for Christmas.

03:23 I mean, it's, well, you're not the kid anymore.

03:25 You're not the kid opening the gifts, or are you?

03:28 - I'm buying, yeah, I've got some growing up to do,

03:29 it would seem.

03:31 Oh no, it's fantastic, I can't wait to spend Christmas

03:32 with him, but it's just, everyone keeps saying to me

03:34 he's gonna be obsessed with the wrapping paper,

03:35 so don't spoil him too much.

03:37 So I'm, you know, he loves shiny stuff, and--

03:39 - You can put a rock in a box, and he'd be happy with it.

03:41 - Yeah, exactly, no, he's fantastic.

03:43 But it's hard, because everything's so cute.

03:45 It's a bit more selfish Christmas time,

03:46 'cause you wanna put them in all the cute clothes,

03:47 and dress them as a Christmas, put it in them,

03:49 whatever else, you know.
