United States to build new $40 million military centre in Darwin

A new US Air Force operations centre planned for Darwin is fuelling concerns Australia is locking itself into potential military conflicts between its ally and China. The facility is part of Washington’s plan to spend more than 600 million dollars on military assets in the top end over the next few years.
