BUD Stock Rises 9% in 12 Months Despite Pride Controversy

Anheuser Busch Inbev SA (BUD), a brewery company based in Leuven, Belgium, reported second-quarter earnings of $339 million, equivalent to 17 cents per share. However, after adjusting for non-recurring costs, the earnings were 72 cents per share, exceeding the expectations of Wall Street analysts, who estimated 66 cents per share. The company's revenue for the period was $15.12 billion, slightly below the Street forecasts of $15.33 billion. Over the last 12 months, Anheuser-Busch Inbev shares have climbed approximately 9%, but they have declined by slightly more than 6% since the beginning of the year.
