00:00 When you look back, what was the biggest adaptation that you had to make going into the slot?
00:03 As you told us last year, it's not a position you've played very many snaps at.
00:06 So what were the biggest adaptations you had to make and what was maybe the biggest surprise
00:10 with how offenses attacked you playing that position?
00:13 Just like the run fits, you know, and then the more space that I'm used to on the outside
00:17 versus inside.
00:18 Those were like the two biggest things.
00:20 And then, you know, just like I said, just getting a run fit, dealing with linemen.
00:23 I've never dealt with, you know, blocking linemen or getting off blocks with linemen.
00:26 So just the little things like that.
00:28 As your rookie year progressed, how did you feel about your comfort level at that slot
00:31 position?
00:32 I believe it was the last eight games, no touchdowns allowed.
00:34 How did you feel in terms of just the overall feel at that spot?
00:37 I definitely get more comfortable.
00:38 You know, like I said, it was definitely foreign for me.
00:40 You know, I never played it.
00:41 That's all it took was just repetition and just continuously growing and learning from
00:45 the mistakes.
00:46 Is there anything specifically this offseason that you did to try to target that position
00:50 specifically?
00:51 Because I'm sure going into last year, that probably wasn't a spot you were expecting
00:54 to play.
00:55 Yeah, I feel like, you know, minimizing the space, you know, and just be more close in
00:59 coverage.
01:00 That was the biggest thing.
01:01 You know, it could be one step away.
01:02 And that's all it took for me.
01:03 So just to minimize the, you know, the space.
