00:06 The Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for Manchester for the 2nd of August.
00:12 Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected for most of the day and this could cause flooding
00:18 and disrupt travel on Wednesday 3rd August.
00:22 Plans to create a new public park in Oldham Town Centre have taken a step forward.
00:27 Oldham Council is planning to create a new six-acre park named Jubilee Park as the regeneration
00:33 plans for the area continue.
00:36 And finally, the popular fried chicken chain Popeyes is coming to Piccadilly Gardens later
00:41 this year.
00:43 The new venue will be bringing a taste of Louisiana to Manchester and will be the 15th
00:48 store to open in 2023.
