Huge shark fins filmed in River Thames, but it’s not what you think

A trio of huge shark fins have been spotted in London's River Thames, but it's not what you might think.

The fins, which are large floats, have been released into London's iconic river to celebrate the upcoming launch of The Meg 2: The Trench.

The three massive, hand-sculpted fins and back sections were crafted in the style of the film's iconic Megalodon sharks.

The biggest fin in the river is standing 4.5m above water, with its body sections spanning over 20 metres long.

The sequel film, starring Jason Statham, is set to hit cinemas on August 4.
