00:06 And Assalamu Alaikum to the Pakistani community here today, members of the media here today.

00:14 It is indeed an honor and a privilege that we are unveiling the statue of Shihid Mawdana bin Zain-Bato

00:23 here at Madam Tussauds Dubai. I first seen this statue in the Madam Tussauds in London.

00:32 But as most of you may know, Dubai has a special place in the heart of our family.

00:37 My mother, Shihid Mawdana bin Zain-Bato, spent around 10 years here in Dubai when we were in exile.

00:44 I received my primary and secondary education here in the UAE.

00:50 So we have a close attachment to this city, to this country.

00:56 And we're immensely grateful that the memory of our mother, Shihid Mawdana bin Zain-Bato,

01:02 is being honored here today on the wall of this black statue.

01:07 She is a symbol for democracy, for freedom, for equal rights for women across the world

01:17 and for the peaceful progress of the face of Pakistan.

01:22 We're very grateful for you and your team for serving and making this happen.
