Blasé New Yorkers didn't bat an eyelid and went about there business after a hotdog stand went up in flames on a busy Manhattan street.

No one stopped, or even appeared to notice, as the fast-food cart was destroyed in the inferno.

New York native Natalie McMahon, 40, had just finished work nearby on 44th Street, when she came across the inferno at her bus stop on 46th and 4th.

Natalie said: "The cart was pretty much abandoned in the street just burning.

"I was probably there for like five minutes and never saw the Fire Department or saw anyone call, or even care.

"Smoke was everywhere. No one was trying to do anything about it."

The footage was captured on July 17.
