Parliament is likely to discuss the Bill intended to replace the Delhi ordinance. The ordinance had been promulgated, resulting in the reversal of a Supreme Court constitution bench judgement. This judgement had previously granted control of the Capital's bureaucracy to the elected government of Delhi. AAP MP Raghav Chadha said, "This ordinance that will be introduced in the Parliament today is undemocratic. This is not just against the Constitution of the country but also against the 1.2 crore people in Delhi. The BJP has understood that they are finished in Delhi so their high command has taken this decision to destroy the Delhi government." Watch here.

00:00 The Delhi constitution is being brought in the house today.
00:05 I think that no other constitution, law or bill has been brought in the history of India.
00:15 This kills the fundamental spirit of the constitution.
00:20 And this is not only against the constitution.
00:23 It is against the 2 crore people of Delhi.
00:26 And they are warned that if they vote for any party other than BJP,
00:33 they will destroy the government.
00:38 This is a threat to the people of Delhi by the BJP.
00:43 And this is not only a warning to the people of Delhi.
00:47 This bill is an insult to the Supreme Court of India.
00:53 The Supreme Court's decision to overturn the constitution in just 8 days
00:59 by a court order, the sin of which the Modi government has committed,
01:05 has probably never been seen in the history of India.
01:08 And in the end, I will tell you, you will have to understand why all this happened.
01:13 Why are the powers of the Delhi government being snatched away by the Delhi constitution?
01:19 The Delhi government is being destroyed.
01:22 This is because the Indian people's party has not been able to form a government in Delhi for the past 25 years.
01:29 For the past 25 years, Delhi has had 6 elections.
01:31 Elections for the assembly, elections for the chief minister.
01:34 6 out of 6 elections, BJP lost badly.
01:38 And especially after 2013, the elections that took place,
01:42 the elections that BJP fought against Arvind Kejriwal,
01:45 in all those elections, the people of Delhi hugged Arvind Kejriwal
01:49 and made him the chief minister, kissed his forehead and said
01:52 that we want the government of Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister and Ram Admi party.
01:55 We want the government of Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister and Ram Admi party.
01:58 Seeing that, the Indian people's party has understood that their political land has now been shaken in Delhi.
02:05 All the leaders of the BJP's Delhi unity have become politically unemployed.
02:10 So now, taking the recognition of their finished Delhi BJP,
02:17 maybe the high command has taken the decision of BJP to end the government so that there is no more trouble.
02:23 And this step was taken in that regard.
02:26 See, the decision of the population is made inside the assembly when the vote is cast.
02:31 Before that, talking about the population will be meaningless.
02:35 But I feel that this is such an unconstitutional law
02:39 that many people who love the constitution,
02:44 want to maintain the democracy of the country,
02:47 will vote for the Ram Admi party.
02:49 And not for the Ram Admi party, but will vote to go against this constitution and defeat it.
02:54 I will tell you again, the decision of the population is made inside the assembly when the vote is cast.
02:58 Today, talking about the population and numbers will be meaningless.
03:02 All the parties will take the decision according to their own and will do whatever they feel is right.
03:06 We feel that all the parties will come together to defeat this bill.
03:10 I would even say that BJP will have some such MPs who love the constitution and democracy as much as we do.
03:17 And that too to save the constitution and democracy of the country.
