The locals and tourists on the Greek island of Rhodes certainly didn't expect their summer plans to be spoiled by wildfires, but nature doesn't follow a script.

Shared by Matej Turner, this alarming mini-compilation shows the said island being haunted by raging infernos.

Thankfully, help arrives right on time to evacuate everyone to safety!

"Took these shots from Friday to Sunday," Matej told WooGlobe. "On Saturday evening, they moved us to the Rodos Palace Hotel. I must point out that they took very good care of us at the Rodos Palace Hotel."
