NASA’s DART Mission Cleaved Dozens of Boulder-Sized Rocks from Dimorphos Asteroid

Just last year NASA completed its DART mission, or the Double Asteroid Redirection Test. It was an unprecedented endeavor that was a resounding success, however now NASA says they’ve detected a debris field surrounding the asteroid pair, a by-product of their success.
