In a speech in central London on housing policy Michael Gove says the government are “unequivocally, unapologetically and intensively” concentrating development in city centres. The housing secretary says his approach is in “direct contrast” with Labour, who he claims “have failed to deliver housing” in city centres and are now looking at “ending protection for the green belt”.
