The current state of the Manila Central Post Office (MCPO) remains unchanged in Lawton, Manila, as of July 23, 2023, after it was destroyed by a fire on May 21, 2023.
Recently, the Senate has established a committee to study the restoration of the Manila Central Post Office. Senator Loren Legarda, Chairperson of the Committee on Culture and the Arts, stated that the restoration project is a tribute to those who have come before us, honoring their craftsmanship and vision.
