Cooking stuffed salmon in an Iranian village style is a delightful and flavorful way to prepare this delicious fish. In Iranian cuisine, they often use a combination of aromatic herbs and spices to create rich, mouthwatering dishes. Here's a traditional recipe for stuffed salmon in an Iranian village style:

Ingredients:

For the salmon:

1 whole salmon (cleaned and gutted)
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil
For the stuffing:

1 cup cooked rice (long-grain rice works well)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh herbs (a mix of parsley, dill, and cilantro works well)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil
For garnish (optional):

Sliced lemons
Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or cilantro)
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent. Add the minced garlic and continue to cook for another minute.

Stir in the cooked rice, chopped fresh herbs, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, chopped walnuts, and raisins. Mix everything together and season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Cook the stuffing for a few more minutes until all the flavors are well combined. Set aside to cool slightly.

Rinse the salmon thoroughly under cold running water and pat it dry with paper towels. Make sure to remove any remaining scales or bones.

Make incisions along the sides of the salmon, creating pockets for the stuffing. Be careful not to cut all the way through.

Stuff the rice and herb mixture into the pockets you created in the salmon. Press down gently to make sure it's firmly packed.

Rub the outside of the salmon with olive oil, and then season with salt and pepper.

Place the stuffed salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 25-35 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Once the salmon is done, you can garnish it with sliced lemons and fresh herbs for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.

Serve the stuffed salmon on a large platter, and enjoy it with your favorite side dishes, such as saffron rice, grilled vegetables, or a simple cucumber and tomato salad.

The stuffed salmon, cooked in the Iranian village style, will impress your family and friends with its wonderful aroma and taste. Enjoy your flavorful and satisfying meal!
