00:13 summer sun as they enjoy the outdoors. In her caption, Kathie Lee radiated joy, writing,

00:19 "Heaven. I'm in heaven. Or as close as I'm going to get to it on this earth.

00:23 Wishing you all a blessed day." Fans in the comment section gushed over the duo,

00:27 and many remarked on just how much little Frankie looks like Cody. One wrote, "He looks just like

00:32 his dad. Precious. Being a grandparent is for sure heaven on earth." And another chimed in,

00:37 "Oh my. Did they rewind the tape? Looks like you 30 years ago holding Cody. Enjoy

00:42 grandmothering. It's the greatest gift." Kathie Lee became a first-time grandmother

00:46 last summer, when Cody and his wife Erica welcomed Frankie. When the cutie turned one

00:50 this May, his proud grandma celebrated on Instagram, writing, "Happy birthday to the

00:54 sweetest little man in the world. So grateful to God for the gift of Frankie." The television

00:59 personality has since welcomed a second grandchild. Her daughter Cassidy gave birth to a son named

01:04 Finn in June. When Cassidy and her husband Ben shared the happy news of Finn's arrival on

01:08 Instagram, Kathie Lee sent them love. She commented on her daughter's post, "Cassidy,

01:13 you and Ben are a wonder. The love you have for each other is so beautifully expressed in the way

01:17 you care for your newborn Finn, who is the best of both of you. Praise our loving Lord, who is

01:22 the God of family. I am beyond rejoicing with you and for you." And another bundle of joy is on the

01:27 way. Cody and Erica are expecting their second child, meaning Frankie will soon be a big brother.

01:32 The past few years have been a whirlwind for the Gifford family. Both Cody and Cassidy got

01:37 engaged to their respective partners in 2019, embarking on their journey to marriage and later

01:41 parenthood. Axis Daily chatted with Kathie Lee in 2019, a few months after her son's engagement,

01:47 and a few weeks before her daughter's.

02:06 >> No, he told me the day before that it was going to happen the next day.

02:11 >> Yeah, they've been together six years. They got engaged on their sixth anniversary.

02:16 >> And she's lovely. She's from Las Vegas. She was a dancer. Not that kind. Not that there's

02:21 anything wrong with that. But they met at USC.

02:26 >> He's a Trojan. So, yeah. So, he's happy. He's -- you know, Cody went to

02:31 Oxford University and got his master's in screenwriting. So, he's out there,

02:35 you know, writing and producing all kinds of stuff. Cassidy, probably going to get pretty

02:39 engaged pretty darn soon, too. I got to --

02:41 >> It's going to be a one-two punch.

02:42 >> I think -- well, yeah. And they've known each other since they were 11 and 14. So,

02:47 it's good. It's a happy time for us.

02:48 >> Excited about potentially being a grandmother soon?

02:51 >> Well, I've waited long enough, my gosh, haven't I?

02:54 >> What would they call you, your grandkids?

02:56 >> Hot.
