00:00 We had two embryos put back in and yeah, we ended up having twins.
00:03 I had IVF for the first time in 2017 and it wasn't successful
00:12 and it was just really, really devastating to have gone through
00:14 such a massive, heart-wrenching process and it just to come to nothing.
00:19 And it took quite a few months to kind of get over that.
00:21 And we weren't sure whether we would be able to do it again
00:24 from a financial point of view.
00:26 The following year, we managed to.
00:28 So we had two embryos put back in just to try and increase the chances
00:32 and yeah, we ended up having twins.
00:33 I would say the hardest thing about IVF is probably
00:36 the fact that you are just investing so much.
00:39 There were so many scans.
00:41 I think I went for scans every second day
00:44 and I was injecting every evening
00:47 and I had to be at the same time every evening.
00:49 It was quite a restricting process, which I wasn't expecting.
00:52 You can't just head off for a few days on holiday,
00:55 for example, in the middle of it.
00:57 When I look back at photos of me back then,
01:00 I feel this intense sadness because I really wasn't sure
01:03 whether we'd be able to have another baby.
01:05 So I think I would go back and just be like,
01:07 don't worry, you're doing everything you can.
01:09 And it works in the end.
01:11 You do manage, not just one baby, you manage to have two babies.
