Hope Stands Up to Brooke and Defends Thomas! The Bold and the Beautiful

00:02 Wow, Brooke and Hope's confrontation was today

00:05 and we wondered how Hope would react

00:07 to Brooke finding her in bed with Thomas.

00:10 Would Hope deny her feelings

00:12 and desperately try to do damage control?

00:14 Or would she be defiant and stand by her choice?

00:18 And stand by her choice she did

00:20 as Hope stands up for herself and Thomas.

00:24 So here's what happened.

00:25 Brooke arrived and barged into the bedroom

00:28 where she caught Hope in bed with Thomas.

00:30 Brooke said she came here in good faith

00:32 to extend an olive branch to Thomas

00:34 and let him know that the kiss in Rome wasn't his fault.

00:38 But now this, a kiss in Rome now has become more than that.

00:42 "How could you do this, Hope, how?" said Brooke.

00:46 Brooke even told Thomas,

00:47 "I'm beginning to wonder

00:48 if you didn't manipulate my daughter after all."

00:51 But then Hope stands up for Thomas

00:53 saying he didn't manipulate her.

00:55 "I made a choice, I know what I did and I don't regret it."

01:00 Wow, this is huge, Hope not regretting it.

01:04 It wasn't too long ago

01:05 when Hope denied to Brooke her true feelings for Thomas

01:08 and she said some hurtful things about Thomas

01:10 to try and placate her mom.

01:12 But now Hope is defending her man

01:14 and Hope showed passion arguing her case.

01:18 Brooke isn't going to back down though,

01:19 telling Hope, "You turn to the one man

01:22 your husband hates more than anyone."

01:25 But Hope says, "My husband left me."

01:27 Brooke wants Hope to keep fighting for her marriage though.

01:30 And she told Hope,

01:31 "This thing that happened with you and Thomas today,

01:33 this was a mistake.

01:34 You are not going to be with Thomas," says Brooke.

01:38 Hope goes on to say she doesn't need rescuing

01:40 and that Liam made it very clear to her that it is over.

01:43 Wyatt and RJ have been trying to convince Liam though

01:46 to go back to Hope, so we'll see if he tries.

01:49 But Hope could be ready to move on.

01:51 And Hope told Brooke, "Maybe it is wrong.

01:54 Maybe it is scandalous,

01:55 but it was also beautiful and passionate and romantic.

01:59 And if anyone can understand it, it should be you."

02:03 Hope said it was beautiful

02:05 and she's never felt this way before.

02:08 Wow, that's a powerful thing to say

02:10 because not even Liam makes her feel the way Thomas does.

02:14 Hope told Thomas he makes her feel

02:16 like she's the only woman in the world,

02:18 someone that doesn't have a divided heart

02:20 like Liam does with Steffi.

02:22 Hope went on to say she's following her heart

02:25 just like Brooke did all those years ago.

02:27 And if Brooke hadn't followed her heart,

02:29 Hope might not have been born.

02:31 And speaking of that,

02:33 will Hope now become pregnant with Thomas' baby?

02:37 We'll have to see if so,

02:38 that would connect Hope and Thomas

02:39 regardless of what happens.

02:41 But there are forces against Hope and Thomas being together

02:44 and not just Brooke.

02:46 Taylor told Ridge,

02:47 "I do not want to see the Logans sabotage Thomas."

02:50 Brooke, Taylor and Steffi could all be on the same page,

02:52 not wanting Hope to be with Thomas.

02:55 Taylor and Steffi thinking it could be dangerous for Thomas

02:57 and bring back his obsession.

02:59 They'll place the blame on Hope.

03:01 And Brooke wants Thomas away from Hope

03:03 because of his past manipulations.

03:05 They all have the same goal, but for different reasons.

03:08 But back with Brooke and Hope and Thomas,

03:10 Brooke ordered Hope to go back home to her family

03:13 and that this thing with Thomas is over.

03:16 And Brooke told Hope, "No more desires.

03:19 This affair ends today.

03:21 Brooke is forbidding it."

03:23 But Hope will have her own say about that.

03:25 Everyone will be against Hope and Thomas being together,

03:28 but isn't that what creates great drama?

03:30 And Hope is no longer denying her feelings for Thomas,

03:33 no longer telling Brooke what she wants to hear.

03:36 Hope is having an awakening and she's changing,

03:38 growing into her own woman, choosing what she wants.

03:42 She's bold and she said what she has with Thomas

03:45 is beautiful.
