No big deal, says Fadnavis over Ajit Pawar, NCP leaders meeting Sharad Pawar since rebellion

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while speaking on Ajit Pawar faction leaders’ meeting with Sharad Pawar, on July 16 called it not a big deal.

He said, “For years Sharad Pawar was their leader so they must have gone to meet him, no big deal in it.”

Earlier on July 16, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar along with his leaders Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal, Dilip Walse Patil and Hasan Mushrif and Dilip Walse Patil met NCP Chief Sharad Pawar at Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Mumbai. NCP Sharad Pawar faction leaders Jayant Patil and Jitendra Awhad also attended the meeting.

The NCP has 53 MLAs and nine MLCs, of whom nine MLAs including Ajit Pawar have joined the Eknath Shinde government.
