A Mascletà Fireworks from Above in Cullera, Spain

I took the train down to Cullera for a Mascletà shot by Pirotecnia Zaragozana. Cullera is a beautiful coastal town in Valencia, Spain, known for its beaches, its historic center, and its vibrant cultural scene. The Mascletà is a traditional Valencian fireworks display that takes place every day at 2pm during the Fallas festival.

When I arrived in Cullera, I checked out the setup for the Mascletà. I noticed that the barriers would limit my direct view of the shooting location. Then I saw the Cullera hill and thought, "Why not? Let's film this display the way birds would see it."

So right before 2pm, I went on a little walk and climb, and positioned myself to have a different kind of Mascletà view. I'm so glad I decided to climb the Cullera hill to watch the Mascletà. It was so unique to see one of those fireworks from a different point of view.
