Green Electricity Tariff to 'get' six-fold hike in August, says Nik Nazmi

A new premium for Green Electricity Tariff (GET) will be introduced beginning August, says the National Resources, Energy and Climate Change Ministry.
Its minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad on Friday (July 14) said the rate, at 21.8 sen/kWh, was based on the cost of green electricity supplies at neighbouring countries offering the same services.
