Selena Gomez’s little sister Gracie was enchanted to switch up her hairdo.
The “Love You Like A Love Song” singer took to her Instagram Story to debut her 10-year-old sister’s style switch up inspired by her long-time bestie, Taylor Swift. To celebrate the 7 July release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), Gracie chose to dye her hair purple to match the album cover’s famed color.
“Why’d you dye your hair purple?” Gomez asked her sister in the 13 July video. “For Speak Now,” Gracie candidly replied.
Teasing the young Swiftie, the Only Murders in the Building actress questioned whether Gracie planned on dying her hair to match the cover of her upcoming album. “Will you ever dye it a colour for my album?” she questioned Gracie took a little longer to respond than her older sister anticipated, but eventually exclaimed: “I will!”
The two Gomez girls recently had a fun night out attending Swift’s Eras Tour in Arlington, Texas, back in April, donning heaps of friendship bracelets and album-inspired get-ups.
While Gracie stayed loyal to her one true love Speak Now with a purple dress, the “Who Says” artist went for a more casual look in a baggy cardigan like the one Swift wore in the music video on her Folklore album.
To make the night shimmer even more, Gracie was gifted the “22” hat that Swift gives away to one fan during her performance of the song each night of the tour, but before the music icon took off Gracie handed her one of the charm bracelets on her wrist.
Gomez posted photos from the night on Instagram with the caption: “Thank you bestie for having me and my sissy transport into your mystical, euphoric and special world. Proud to know you! Love you forever and always.”
The former Wizards of Waverly Place star met Swift in 2008 when they were both dating their own Jonas brother. At the time, the “Red” performer was in a relationship with Joe Jonas, while Gomez was linked to his younger brother Nick.
